WABC Expands Eyewitness News

With Power Rangers leaving ABC/Disney for Nickelodeon and Nicktoons beginning in October and ABC dropping the 12pm ET hour of ABC Kids completly and giving the hour back to their affiliates, beginning September 4th, WABC will add a new hour of Eyewitness News Saturday mornings at 9am as well as a new half hour of Eyewitness News weekdays at 4:30am beginning the day after Labor Day. The ABC Kids block will be tape delayed and air between 10am - 1pm

The expansion continues, on Thursday, May 26 (the day after Oprah ends), WABC will have a new 4pm newscast anchored by David Navarro (who recently returned to the station) and Liz Cho.
