Added another week. Right now the schedule only goes to 8/29, so no idea what's on 9/4 or 9/5.

Well, at least there's a mini-thon on Nicktoons on Power Rangers Day. Theagames10's theory of Sun-Sat going in order still holds.

With no hiccups, they would get to #8 on Sept. 18, which means #9 on 9/25?

BUT, we've seen that Nick doesn't put that many consecutive PR reruns in the Saturday 8 a.m. slot. Two is a LOT, this theory would mean FIVE.

Theagames10

This was to be expected, honestly.

Our September guesstimates are still in play, so...

How many weeks does the rerun Saturday slot stay before new episodes happen in the previous years before the end of a hiatus? Is it always the same, or is it different each year?

This is pretty much the first time where the Saturday and Sunday reruns were part of the same cycle:
Beast Morphers S2 - The Sunday reruns ended with 1008 on 9/13 and the Saturday airings returned with the premiere of 1009 on 9/19
Beast Morphers S1  - The Saturday airings resumed on 8/24 with 905, pre-emption on 8/31, skipped to 908 on 9/7, and then the premiere of 909 aired on 9/14
Super Ninja Steel - The Saturday timeslot never went away and they jumped from a rerun of 804 on 8/18 to the premiere of 809 on 8/25 so they can have 810 - Dimensions in Danger premiere on 8/28
Ninja Steel - They jumped from a rerun of 705 on 8/5 to the premiere of 709 on 8/12.
Dino Super Charge - They jumped from a rerun of 604 on 8/13 to the premiere of 609 on 8/20
Dino Charge - The rerun of 508 on 8/15 lead to the premiere of 509 on 8/22
Super Mega Force - They jumped from a rerun of 402 on 8/23 to the premiere of 409 on 8/30
Mega Force - They jumped from a rerun of 303 on 8/31 to the premiere of 310 on 9/7
Super Samurai - They jumped from a rerun of 201 on 10/6 to the premiere of 214 on 10/13
Samurai - They jumped from a rerun of 114 on 9/17, a pre-emption on 9/24 and then had the premiere of 117 on 10/1

Burgundy Ranger

You want to know how rare a rerun in the 8 a.m. slot is? Yeah, I counted.

Today (Aug 7) is the 128th Saturday since PRBM premiered in the "new" time slot. We've had:

52 new episodes
70 no episodes
SIX reruns

Six out of 128 (4.7%) gives me major pause that they're going to roll with 4-5 weeks of reruns before getting to #9.

First weekend of September for Nick:
9/4 pre-empted
9/5 New Recruits

Also Nicktoons schedule change starting 8/21, 7:30pm is added to Saturdays and Sundays is Gone

Burgundy Ranger

What this tweak does is put the even-numbered episodes on Sunday which, if they stick to the Sat&Sun-same-cycle pattern:

Sep 11 & 12 - Eps 5 & 6
18 & 19 - Eps 7 & 8

leading to episode 9 on Saturday 9/25?

Let's assume there are 14 episodes left to show for 2021. If you resume on Sept 25, there are ONLY 14 SATURDAYS LEFT in the year!

That would put the last new episode on the last Saturday of 2021 (which just happens to be Christmas Day) in the last year of the contract.

On one hand, I doubt Nick would show a new episode on Christmas morning. On the other, I can totally see them wrapping the whole thing up on a day where practically no one would watch.

So basically, Hasbro did not stop international spoilers.
Canada AND France are getting 9-11 (TV Spoilers because Canada has Netflix) with France possibly getting ep 12 on Sept 6.

--------------------------------

KyL, are you sure Sept 4th is pre-empted?

1. Zap2it has added Cut Off, which could just mean there is something in 2-3 weeks. (Tho it's greyed and has the June 15th Netflix drop for it's air date)

2. TVPassport has Cut Off for a Sept 4th date, which possibly means either Canada or US has the slot.

3. My own TV guide has a September 4th date for Cut Off. (It doesn't show the listing, but when I look into the information for the show on the Xtream TV guide, it shows Sept 4th for Cut Off and Sept 11th for Phoning Home in a section for the "Extra" episodes)

More Nick September preview:
9/11 Pre-empted
9/12 Winning Attitude

Gracenote's database is worldwide, so they have the date of whatever English language channel aired the episode first in the releaseDate field (in this case Teletoon) and the Netflix debut date is in the origAirDate field. Your cable provider is displaying the "releaseDate", while Zap2it uses the "origAirDate".

Burgundy Ranger

They're really cutting this close. They're down to 15 weeks for 14 episodes.

If they push it any further, we get either:

a) a new episode on Christmas Day (as discussed, hardly likely)

b) doubling up with 2 new episodes in one weekend, either 2 on a Saturday or something totally new, 1 on Saturday and 1 on Sunday?

So now my guesstimate of Sept 18 could actually be the correct one?

They can't go over the holiday episode dates, and they can't really air a possible Christmas episode on the same day as Christmas.

(I will honestly laugh if TheFutonCritic actually updates to say either a Sept 4th or Sept 11 date in the next few days to week.)
