DISNEY CHANNEL MARKS ITS 100TH DISNEY CHANNEL ORIGINAL MOVIE WITH A MULTI-PLATFORM PROGRAMMING EVENT
BEGINNING FRIDAY, MAY 27

The 100th Disney Channel Original Movie (DCOM) premieres this summer, a milestone in the franchise that has entertained kids and families for over 18 years, set all-time cable TV ratings records, helped define a generation and launched some of today's biggest stars. Ushering in the 100th movie, a re-imagined tale of the 1980s film "Adventures in Babysitting" starring today's popular actresses and recording artists Sabrina Carpenter ("Girl Meets World") and Sofia Carson ("Descendants"), is a nostalgic programming event featuring every DCOM ever made. The "100th DCOM Celebration" begins FRIDAY, MAY 27 with a four day marathon of the 51 most popular DCOMs followed by encore presentations of these and every other DCOM ever made through June. The movies will be seen on Disney Channel, the Disney Channel app and VOD through summer.

The programming event is sponsored by Great Wolf Lodge and Shopkins.

All 100 DCOMs will be available for sale throughout the summer on iTunes, Amazon Instant Video and Google Play.

From the first movie, "Under Wraps," to 2007′s record-breaking "High School Musical 2″ and last year's smash global hit Disney's "Descendants," the DCOM franchise reflects values of optimism, self-expression, believing in yourself, and celebrating family and friendship.
In the U.S., across all basic cable, DCOMs have delivered the #1 cable TV movie for 14 consecutive years in Tweens 9-14 (2002-15) and hold the record of six of the Top 7 original cable movies ever ("High School Musical 2," "Teen Beach Movie," "Wizards of Waverly Place: The Movie," "Descendants," "Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension" and "Camp Rock").

Hopefully they keep to their word about airing ALL of them and Tiger Cruise and Tru Confessions FINALLY air again

They also say "Under Wraps" is the first one, I guess they forgot about Northern Lights which premiered 2 months prior, and in order to get to 100, they have to include it

KyL416

For May 31st:
12:00am Return to Halloweentown
1:40am Can of Worms

They're likely including "Sitch in Time", though they've flipflopped over the years on whether it "counts" or not.

The exact times for the second overnight movie will likely change about a week prior after they plan how many promos they will air during the first movie

I found the discrepancy, Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure. Some people don't count it since it was released Direct to DVD over a month before it premiered on Disney Channel

If you count that and Northern Lights, the first movie actually aired under the Disney Channel Original Movie banner, Adventures in Babysitting is 101

KyL416

#7
All of them are now available on Watch Disney Channel and Disney Channel On Demand

KyL416

#8
Watch Disney Channel also has a bunch of bonus features and teasers for many of the movies. Including one for Camp Rock where we see them introduce the non-Jonas Brother's cast comprised of Disney Channel all-stars like "As The Bell Rings" Demi Lovato, "Naturally Sadie's" Jasmine Richards, and "Mike's Super Short Show's" Alyson Stoner.

Tiger Cruise, I haven't seen since 2004 and it was never included as part of the classic DCOM block, I forgot just how deep they go in the second half of the movie with news footage and having it directly impact the lives of several characters.

A Ring of Endless Light, Can of Worms, Going to the Mat, Miracle in Lane 2, Now You See It and Phantom of the Megaplex were also never part of the classic DCOM block

Ready to Run last aired in April 2010

The Other Me last aired in July 2010

The Jennie Project last aired in November 2011

Tru Confessions, starring Shia Lebouf, hasn't aired since January 2012.

Jett Jackson is another rare one that last aired in February 2012, it was scheduled to air again a few months ago, but it and a bunch of others were pulled when they discontinued the classic DCOM at late night block.

Hounded last aired in February 2012

Alley Cats Strike last aired in April 2012

Get A Clue, which stars Lindsay Lohan and features a song by the Canadian band Prozaak, who had to change their name to Simon & Milo just to put their song in the movie, hasn't aired on Disney Channel since April 2011. Freeform did pick it as their Friday night classic DCOM movie last week.

movies

The last record I could find of "Northern Lights" airing was February 28, 2004... on ABC Family.
